This program involves sourcing DC Volts; DC Current; DC Resistance; AC Volts; AC Current; Capacitance and Frequency using suitable lab equipment with a total of 16 test points.

 

DMM-102

The artifact is an HP 34401a, a 6½ digit DMM. This program is suitable for participants who source these electrical quantities and/or calibrate high-end multimeters.  This program involves sourcing DC Volts; DC Current; DC Resistance; AC Volts; AC Current; Capacitance and Frequency using suitable lab equipment with a total of 12 test points

 

DMM-103

The artifact is a Fluke 45;  a 5-digit DMM.  This program is suitable for participants who source these electrical quantities and/or calibrate multimeters.  This program involves sourcing DC Volts; DC Current; Resistance; AC Volts; AC Current; and Frequency using suitable lab equipment with a total of 25 test points

DMM-104

The artifact is an HP 3468a; a 5 1/2-digit DMM.  This program is suitable for participants who source these electrical quantities and/or calibrate multimeters.  This program involves sourcing DC Volts; DC Current; Resistance; AC Volts and AC Current using suitable lab equipment with a total of 17 test points.

DMM-105

The artifact is a Fluke 87 V, a 3½ digit DMM.  This program is suitable for participants who source these electrical quantities and/or calibrate handheld multimeters. This program involves sourcing DC Volts; DC Current; DC Resistance; AC Volts; AC Current; Capacitance, Frequency and Temperature using suitable laboratory equipment.

 

TEMP-101

The artifact is a Fluke 51 digital thermometer.  This program is suitable for participants who source these electrical quantities and/or calibrate temperature measuring devices. This proficiency test involves using a source to simulate temperature in the K-type thermocouple range of -200 °C to 1372 °C.
