Test CMM-201 and CMM-202
The intent of this PT/ILC is to provide a means for the participant organization to evaluate the ability of a technician to make measurements utilizing Coordinate Measuring Machines or articulating arm measuring devices.
This program involves the measurement of between 20 and 25 artifact features including distances, locations and inside and outside diameters of an aluminum artifact. The artifact dimensions are approximately 150x100x35 mm. Reference values are obtained from an accredited laboratory of a world recognized CMM manufacturer. This program is suitable for participants who measure 3D machined work pieces using CMMs. Uncertainties are determined by the reference laboratory using standard and recognized statistical methods.
